How to Order

The Amusement Park Photographic Library is a professional service supplying the international press and media, governments, industry and other organisations with stock images of British amusement parks.

We charge commercial rates for picture use (click here for pricing information).

To order, contact us specifying the following information:

1. Description of pictures required (e.g. picture of Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach).
2. The use intended for the picture (e.g. book, magazine, newspaper, advert, etc).
3. The period of use (e.g. one daily edition of newspaper).
4. Approximate circulation.
5. Territory (e.g. published in the United Kingdom only).
6. How you would like to receive the images (e.g. by email, or posted on CD-ROM).

We will then respond promptly with a quotation.

Images can be supplied in four ways: email, CD-ROM, print or download from a unique URL. The default file-type is a TIFF, but images can be supplied in other formats if requested at no extra charge.

We will send several pictures of a subject if required for approval via email, on a CD-ROM or for download. We will only charge for the photographs actually used. Therefore, if you request a specific ride at a specific park, we can send several photographs of the ride in question for you to choose which photograph meets your specific requirements. You only pay for the images you use.

When we provide you with a quote, we will also explain payment options available. Payment can be made by cheque or by credit card. Cheques should be made out to 'Joyland Books' and should be posted to the address on the Contact Us page. You can pay by credit card online, using our secure server. We will send you an email, with a link to our secure server where you can enter your credit card details; alternatively, you can pay over the telephone. We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, and their derivatives as well as Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express and JCB.

Please note:

1. We protect the copyright, ownership and moral rights of all our images and take action against those who infringe our photographers' rights.
2. We do not provide photographs to individuals for personal use. However, if you run a not-for-profit website, and are looking for a particular image that we hold in the Library, we would be happy to provide you with a low-resolution electronic file free of charge in return for a link back to our website.
